Decor shop display furniture for the DekoSvit store: wall shelving, island gondolas and see-through shelving along the windows. The goods vary in size — from candles to wooden boards — so shelf height and spacing are matched to the actual items.
The wall shelving units are built on perforated uprights, with shelves resting on cantilever brackets. In neighbouring bays the shelves sit at different heights, staggered: a tall item gets its own place without an empty tier above a low one. Closely spaced slots allow a shelf to be moved for a new delivery. The display shelving for decor items is painted one pale grey together with the brackets and back panels — the structure steps back and the eye sees ceramics and textiles. It is close to Scandinavian style: grey, white, pale wood.
The island gondolas are double-sided: a grey plinth, a central wall and four tiers of shelves on each side. The shelves narrow towards the top, so the display is stepped and the bottom tier does not hide in the shadow of the top one. How to plan a sales floor and its fixtures is described in our article on shop fittings from brief to installation.
Along the windows stand framed shelving units: uprights and crossbars form an open grid from floor to ceiling, with individual shelves set into it. The goods are visible from the street, and daylight still reaches the floor. The same task on another scale is the large homeware floor with a house-shaped frame over the furniture zone; a more intimate version is the flower shop fit-out.
This solution suits decor, tableware and gift shops where the range changes often. More about the home decor shop fit-out is on the custom shop fittings page.
