A custom conference table and a round meeting table for one office. The long table has rounded ends; both stand on black fluted bases with a curved outline and share one warm wood-effect top, forming a set for a large and a small meeting room.
The top of the large table is elongated, with ends rounded in an arc. A shape like this leaves no sharp corners in the walkway, and the head of the table is as comfortable as the sides. A black matt insert with cable bays runs along the centre line, so laptops and the screen plug in right at each seat and no leads trail across the surface. Power comes up from below, through the base. The base itself is a fluted plinth with an oval end, set back from the edge of the top: nothing gets in the way of legs, and chairs tuck in fully.
The round meeting table for the office is meant for a short conversation in a small group. Its overhanging top rests on a single central base, so people can sit on any side. In plan the base is not a circle but a wave, formed by several joined arcs covered in vertical fluting. A black cable grommet cover sits in the centre of the top.
Two colours repeat in both tables, so separate rooms read as one office, calm and elegant. Rounded furniture softens strict office geometry; we explained how it is designed and made in our piece on furniture with rounded corners. From the same series comes the reception desk with slats and a lit plinth. The office with bench desks and a meeting room behind frosted glass shows how meeting rooms fit into a large workplace. A conference table with an industrial character is the loft table with a chevron-laid top.
The set suits a company that needs a boardroom table with rounded ends for formal meetings and a spot for quick catch-ups in one visual language. We match the top sizes, the decor and the number of cable outlets to the room. See custom furniture for business.
